About the role
Product Executive required by an award-winning, UK-based, tour operator who craft memorable bespoke travel experiences across the world for their discerning clients. This brand-new role is being created to give their Product team a better presence in the Latin America region, so they can further develop commercial relationships with partners, increase destination expertise, increase the viability of physical product research trips and attendance of staff familiarisation trips.
Responsibilities of an In-Region Product Executive:
Be the main regional contact for hotels and DMC’s, helping support the product management’s goals and priorities.
Work with suppliers on commercial discussions and help secure strong partnerships
Spot potential opportunities or challenges within the region
Oversee day-to-day product administration, including content updates, supplier changes, marketing support and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
Keep internal regional information up to date, examples being hotel renovations, construction projects, temporary closures, accessibility considerations and major local events that may impact travel experiences.
Maintain practical internal notes on hotels and experiences, sharing useful insights that help HQ sell accurately and confidently.
Travel regularly within the region for hotel visits and familiarisation trips, ensuring product knowledge stays current and supplier relationships remain strong.
Coordinate familiarisation trips on behalf of the Product Manager, including supplier communication, itinerary planning, logistics, participant briefings and follow-up actions.
Act as a trusted point of contact for UK-based sales and ops teams and help with product training for new staff.
Produce reports on destinations, suppliers and product performance sharing observations with Product Manager.
Skills and Experience required:
Travel Industry experience, ideally with a Tour Operator or DMC in contracting, operations, product or tailor-made sales.
Impeccable attention to detail in the collation of product information.
Strong English language and confidence communicating across different cultures.
High level of self-motivation to work independently
Located within reach of an international transport airport.
