About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to work for a public sector organisation in Wakefield. The role is working full time, on a 4 on, 4 off basis, initially for 6 months, with the right candidate starting ASAP.
The main duties will reverberate around ensuring the security of staff, visitors, car parks and general property. This will involve:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Responding efficiently and appropriately to incidents.
- Undergoing regular patrols of the site.
- Reporting and recording incidents, following a defined process.
- Monitoring surveillance systems.
- Providing excellent customer service to members of the public and colleagues.
- Answering general queries/questions.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously. However, if you have excellent customer service skills and a valid SIA licence, then do not hesitate to apply by using the online facility available.
