Senior Director, Operations – Italy
Role Summary
As Senior Director, Data Centre Operations - Italy, you will lead our clients Italian data centre portfolio, ensuring safe, reliable and client-focused operations across mission-critical campuses.
Reporting to the Vice President, Operations - EMEA, you will provide strategic leadership to Italy Operations teams, driving operational excellence, high-performing teams and industry-leading uptime across one of Europe's fastest-growing digital infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational performance across our clients Italian data centre portfolio, ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency and compliance.
Develop high-performing Operations teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Drive consistent operational processes, governance, maintenance standards and proactive risk management.
Champion a zero-downtime culture through preventive maintenance, incident management and operational resilience.
Act as the senior operational escalation point during major incidents and business continuity events.
Build trusted relationships with hyperscale and enterprise clients, ensuring responsive, high-quality service delivery.
Partner with Engineering, Delivery and Client Services to ensure smooth commissioning and operational readiness of new capacity.
Lead KPI reviews, vendor performance, budgets, compliance and continuous improvement across Italy Operations.
What You’ll Bring
Significant leadership experience managing mission-critical operations, ideally within data centres or critical facilities.
Proven success leading multi-site operational teams and developing senior leaders.
Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure operations, maintenance, uptime assurance and incident management.
Experience managing operational risk, governance, compliance and continuous improvement programmes.
Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted senior relationships.
Commercial awareness, including experience managing OPEX, vendor performance and service quality.
Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Fluent English language skills; professional proficiency in Italian is strongly preferred.

Fascia Retributiva (RAL): 120,000 € - 150,000 premio di risultato.
Contratto CCNL Commercio (Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi).

La fascia retributiva indicata rappresenta il range previsto per il ruolo. La retribuzione sarà determinata in modo equo e trasparente all'interno di tale fascia, sulla base dell'esperienza professionale, delle competenze e delle qualifiche del candidato.
