Are you an experienced Sign Fitter looking to join a growing and successful signage company?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in the Leeds area that is continuing to expand due to increased demand. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional installation team, working on a wide variety of projects for well-known clients across the UK.
From retail stores and sports venues to commercial premises and corporate branding projects, no two days are the same.
The Role
As a Sign Fitter, you'll be responsible for installing a broad range of internal and external signage, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Your duties will include:
Installing a variety of signage including illuminated signs, fascia signs, totems, tray signs, wayfinding systems, vinyl graphics and large-format external signage
Travelling to customer sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays when required
Working from technical drawings and installation specifications
Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety regulations
Maintaining company tools, equipment and vehicle
Providing a professional service and representing the business positively on customer sites
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience installing commercial signage
A strong understanding of signage installation techniques and safe working practices
Confidence working at height and using a variety of hand and power tools
A full UK driving licence
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
CSCS, IPAF and PASMA cards would be advantageous, but are not essential.
